Born 4 February 1905 in New Rochelle, New York, USA.
Died 15 July 1983 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, of pancreatic cancer.
Son of Eddie Foy and Madeline Morando. Brother of director Bryan Foy, entertainer Charley Foy, entertainer Mary Foy, entertainer Madeline Foy, entertainer Richard Foy, and entertainer Irving L. Foy.
Married actress Barbara Newberry, 12 May 1930; divorced, January 1932.
Married Anna Marie McKenney, 6 June 1933; until Anna’s death, 24 February 1952;
son, casting director and producer Eddie Foy III, born 10 February 1935.
Eddie Foy Jr. was a member of the famous vaudeville family act, The Seven Little Foys. Eddie can be seen today in the Vitaphone short, The Foy Family in “Chips of the Old Block” (1928). Eddie Foy Jr. had a long career as an actor in films, and portrayed his father in Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942).
