Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? On the way to a barn dance, Jim rescues a boy from ill treatment by a tramp who forces him to steal. The adventure keeps Jim from the dance, and his best girl, furious at the slight, gives him the cold shoulder. But he, interested in “the kid,” affects not to care. At last they are reunited by fire, when the girl is trapped in a blazing barn and rescued by Jim and the kid. The tramp, whose pipe caused the fire, vanishes from the vicinity, and the kid, no longer needing to fear him, is happy with Jim for a pal.
