Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? The funeral of one of the richest men in Yokohama. The long cortege is made resplendent by the tall “funeral trees,” a peculiar custom in Japan, and by the huge cages containing doves, the gifts of relatives and friends of the deceased. During the interment the birds are given their freedom, even as the spirit of the deceased is, at that moment, supposed to receive its freedom.
