Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Suzie is stage-struck and scorns Lee’s love making, telling him that she is going to be a famous actress. In the meantime, the director of a moving picture company in the vicinity is having his troubles. Struggling with the villain, the lending woman loses her false teeth. Unfortunately, these masticatory implements are broken, and the irate director is minus a heroine. Suzie has been sent on an errand by her mother. The director spots her, and with true instantaneous ingenuity of his profession, works her into the scene. Benny, Suzie’s little brother, has been sent to look for her. He spies his sister in the villain’s grasp. Being kicked out when he tries to rescue her. Benny spreads the alarm. The heroine is about to have a narrow escape from burning to death when the fire department and Lee arrive at the same moment. The former creates a small deluge while Lee tries to rescue Suzie. The picture people chase away the fire department and the townsfolk, who have gathered and the latter, in revenge, call the sheriff. Suzie is tied on the beach with a rising tide, when the sheriff enters and arrests the whole company. Suzie is in actual danger when Lee returns to her rescue. The director offers her a job as regular, but she falls into Lee’s arms with “Never again.” • Additional synopsis available in Blake-Films p. 6.
