Peter Vantine
Peter Vantine has been playing piano since age seven, concertizing since age eight and along with playing many different styles of music continues to pursue his love for music composition. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a dual Bachelors degree in Film Scoring and Music Production & Engineering, Peter has worked for over ten years in the film and media industry producing and composing music for clients including Warner Brothers On-line, LiveUpdate, Grolier Interactive, The Learning Company, Mindscape, Paulist Press, and the Magic of Lyn. At the same time he has maintained an active music ministry position.
Currently, he is the Assistant Pastor for Music Ministries at Middleton Congregational Church and founder of One Foundation, an independent organization that specializes in Christian record production and music publishing. He was also the grand prize winner of the 2001 Young Film Composers Competition sponsored by Turner Classic Movies, which enabled him to compose the score for the newly restored silent classic film Camille (1921). Peter resides in Middleton, Mass., and is married with two children.
